In the early years, our focus was on the installation and maintenance of functional radio communication systems. As early as 1989, we began developing and implementing applications for data transmission over narrowband two-way radio networks. These were soon followed by systems for public alarm transmission via radio, burglar alarm monitoring, telemetry solutions for utility service monitoring, and more.
Through collaboration with the company IT 100, we gained valuable experience in the design, construction and maintenance of large-scale radio communication systems in Slovenia. Among other projects, we co-developed three nationwide radio networks for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Slovenia.
Despite ongoing development, we have remained true to our roots. Through the successful implementation of several public alarm systems using radio communications (referred to as radio SIJA) across Slovenia, we have demonstrated that this method of data transmission is both excellent and reliable for such applications.
For the needs of the Slovenian Civil Protection and Rescue Administration, we designed, manufactured, and installed the radio SIJA infrastructure, integrating more than 200 sirens into the system. It also included the population alert system for landslide-prone areas such as Stovže (Log pod Mangartom), Ladra, Koseč, Solčava, and Lokavec. This marked a period of close collaboration with the company Tegrad.
Following a public tender issued after the amendment to the Act on Protection Against Natural and Other Disasters (ZVNDN-UPB1), we were selected in 2006 to supply and build a pilot SIJA system in the Notranjska region.
Our success was driven by the use of state-of-the-art technology, the most competitive overall offer, and strong references.
By 2025, we had modernized the entire SIJA infrastructure across Slovenia and integrated more than 1,300 new-generation electronic sirens. The SIJA system in landslide-prone areas was also upgraded with this advanced technology.
In 2021, the company was passed on to the next generation, who continue its mission with dedication and enthusiasm.
