The TDI company was involved in the introduction of the first pilot remote siren triggering system and in establishing the complete public alarm system in the Republic of Slovenia. Over time, we have continuously upgraded the system adding new sirens, control centers, and digital enhancements.
The system is fully independent, meaning it remains operational even during outages of other communication networks and, for a limited time, even without power supply, ensuring functionality during severe natural disasters and other emergencies.

Mobile avalanche warning system
As part of SIJA, we also operate mobile public alarm units, which are specially adapted for quick deployment (e.g. in avalanche areas) and allow operation without connection to the electrical network. The system operates via pull loops that are laid over the avalanche and connected to the public alarm system, enabling the immediate activation of sirens and promptly warning the population to evacuate.
Mobile siren
In case of need for emergency siren installation on landslide, flood or other endangered areas, mobile sirens are installed. The mobile siren is mounted on a cargo trailer and can be included in the public alarm system anywhere in Slovenia.
Siren at the Civil Protection Control Center
In the event of major interventions, when a temporary mobile protection and rescue control center is established, public alarm sirens are mounted on specially adapted containers and are included in the central SIJA system.
